INTERNAL MEDICINE RESIDENCY PROGRAM

Thank you for your interest in our Internal Medicine Residency Program. Outlined below are the requirements for the 2011-2012 Program Year.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION Must apply to our Program through ERAS. Interviews will be conducted beginning in November and continuing through January. Application_Deadline is November 1, 2010

VISA REQUIREMENT Will consider only the following:

- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

- J-1 application

- Transfer of existing H-1 or new H-1. If we should decide to sponsor H-1, we require that you have taken and passed step 3 by no later than January 31, 2011.

USMLE SCORES Prefer scores of 85 or higher on steps 1 and 2 (first attempt)

CSA REQUIREMENT Must have cleared all requirements of step 2 by 12/3l/10.

ECFMG CERTIFICATE Must be ECFMG Certified by the time rank order list is submitted (February 2011)

PREVIOUS U.S.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE Preference given to candidates with previous U.S. experience

YEAR OF GRADUATION Prefer candidates who have graduated 2006 or later
