Webpage Update.
With the numerous inquiries into Dr. Lesser's condition, we have created this web page to give updates and provide a message board. Dr. Lesser has been with us for over 17 years as a teacher, colleague and friend and our thoughts and prayers for a swift recovery are certainly with him and his family.
Dr. Lesser is in stable condition. Per family's wishes, they would appreciate not visiting him at this time.
Update: After one week Dr Lesser is making small, but positive steps toward improvement. The family wishes to thank everyone for their continued concern and support. The message board is proving to be a welcome part of Dr Lesser's recovery.
Update: It has now been a little over two weeks since Dr. Lesser became a patient here at Sinai-Grace. He is still showing small signs of improvement. Although the journey of recovery will be some time, Dr. Lesser's spirit is one of determination. The support of his friends and colleagues has certainly played an integral part in his commitment to recovery. Again, the family extends many thanks to everyone who has kept Dr. Lesser in their thoughts.
Update: Dr. Lesser is making slow but steady recovery. He would enjoy visitors (during normal visitor’s hours and for short periods of time) at this time. Thank you all for your support.
Update: Dr. Lesser continues to make progress. He frequently walks the hallways. He has been sited eating meals in the doctors' dining room. He truly enjoys all the email that has been sent. He is expected to leave the hospital at the end of July. As always, thank you for your support.
Update: Dr. Lesser has gone home!! He was discharged at the end of July and he continues to do well. Thank you all for your support and messages. It certainly brought a great comfort to Dr. Lesser.

Lesser was sited in June 2004 at the Residents' graduation dinner held at the
Rooster Tail Club. Nice suit, Dr. Lesser!
